How north America Has Started to save its
arctic region

In 1980 the U.S. congress created the arctic the national wildlife refuge (ANMR)
in Alaska. it covers 7.3 million hectare of undisturbed tundra, wet lands and glaciers. it is one of the last remaining areas of unspoiled nature in the world. under the thin layer of soil there is permanent frost, ice that does not melt even in summer.

ANWR is home to wide varity of animals and birds like caribou, polar bears, arctic foxes, peregrine falcons, musk caribou, return here after spending the winter in canada.

ANWR is a delicate nature region and can easily damaged by human interference.
Envionmentalists have always wanted the area to be left undisturbed for the region, however, it has deposits of oil.
the envionmentalists say that any drilling poses a permanent threat to be delicate balance of nature. what is more, the oil will last long but we would have already certificed nature. The Us congress is likely to approve the deilling operation soon but without distubing envionment in eco friendly way........................
